Musical Extravaganza!
Before the play starts, they explain that it's a musical, not a play. I will also let you know that due to a licensing issue, you're not going to hear Sista. Some things aren't explained in detail, though the story is pretty much the movie. Most importantly, part of this troupe of actors includes some extremely talented singers who are blowing for 3 hours - that did not get lost on me. At the end, they come out for a meet and greet. Don't go to this musical thinking you're going to see a play because you're not. It's long. 3 hours long.
No flow to the set list - skip the encore
Pierce The Veil went on at 7:45 and ended almost 3 hours later with a short 10 min intermission. Their energy was great - always good to hear their hit songs. They and the band sounded great. A lot of people like the covers, so I get it. VZ Amphitheater is a great place to listen to any concert. Good - Played a few covers that were fun to hear - though I would take a few more of their hits over these covers.
